Butterfly Pea flower, now commonly known as blue tea, has been enjoyed as a tisane in Southeast Asia for centuries for its health benefits and has only recently gained more widespread popularity. These range from light blue to a deep dark blue to purple and even to a dark violet at times, depending on the steep time and ph of the water. The plant is also known by its scientific name, Clitoria Ternatea, and is identifiable by its striking blue flowers.
