Jade Oolong was originally a trade term used to describe certain of Taiwan's more greenish Oolong types. The oxidation of Jade Oolong is kept to 25% or less and has minimal rolling to give it it's greener or "jade" character. It is sometimes referred to as "fragrant" Oolong due to its pleasant, flavorful aroma.

This is a special limited-edition organic Oolong from Anxi County in Fujian, a region well known for its quality Oolongs, that is done in the style of the classic Taiwanese Jade Oolong. There is a certain poetry to this, given that many of the tea plants used in Taiwan today originated from cuttings brought over from Fujian tea plants. A refreshing Oolong that is both light and fulfilling with a beautiful jade hue.
